The health and well-being of our employees and their families is a top priority. Our goal is to provide a benefit package for individuals, families, and domestic partners that is as generous as possible. AMEC Geomatrix is proud to offer a no-cost medical plan option for employee-only coverage and a small monthly contribution for employees covering family members. AMEC Geomatrix benefits package includes the following:

MEDICAL – We offer multiple medical plans from which eligible employees can choose, including a PPO plan and an HMO type plan.

DENTAL – We provide dental coverage for all eligible employees and their dependents. Our PPO plan allows you to choose any provider you wish for dental care. Employees receive the highest level of benefit by choosing in-network dentists.

VISION – We offer all eligible employees and their dependents vision care, which includes annual vision exams, in addition to coverage for frames and lenses or contacts.

401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN – Our 401(k) and profit sharing plan is designed to help eligible employees save for retirement, share in company profits, and simultaneously reduce taxes. Administered by Fidelity Investments, the plan offers a variety of both Fidelity and non-Fidelity funds to choose from. Geomatrix matches 50% of your contribution to a maximum of 3.75% of total compensation.

VACATION, SICK LEAVE & HOLIDAYS – Eligible employees begin accruing vacation and sick leave on their first day of employment. Eligible employees will also enjoy 8 paid holidays per year as well as an additional floating holiday after 6 months of employment.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING – A Flexible Spending Account enables eligible employees to pay qualifying expenses with pre-tax dollars. An employee can establish a health care and/or dependent care reimbursement account. When elected, deductions for eligible expenses are deducted from gross pay, taxable income is reduced, thereby reducing the taxes that are paid and increasing take home pay.

LIFE INSURANCE & AD&D – Our group life insurance plan provides eligible employees with life insurance coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, anywhere in the world. The benefit is equal to 200% of annual salary. If death is the result of an accident, survivors are entitled to an additional benefit equal to the basic life insurance amount. Additional life insurance can be purchased for employees and their dependents through the supplemental life insurance plan.

COMMUTER BENEFITS – Through this program eligible employees can make pre-tax deductions for mass transit and parking expenses. In addition, we contribute the first $20.00 per month toward an employee’s mass transit expenses.

INCOME PROTECTION – We offer company paid short-term and long-term disability plans to protect employees and their families when needed.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM – Employees and their families can take advantage of our no-cost, confidential assistance program that includes counseling related to marriage and family problems as well as emotional and personal related issues. Assistance is also available for legal matters, financial problems, child or elder care concerns, and pre-retirement planning.
