Both AMEC Geomatrix corporate and local offices participate in charitable giving, and in marshalling the efforts of employees to provide support to worthwhile initiatives. While each office chooses which organizations to support, AMEC Geomatrix's corporate organization matches the donations of each office during the holiday season. In the past, local offices have raised tens of thousands of dollars for local women's and children's shelters, food banks, and youth centers.

• AMEC Geomatrix contributed to Habitat for Humanity to support the relief efforts for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and will provide staff with an opportunity to participate in building prefabricated homes to send to Louisiana.
• AMEC Geomatrix also made a substantial donation to a South Pacific Tsunami Relief fund. Corporate efforts were coordinated by an employee whose family was affected by the storm, and who returned to Sri Lanka to lend a hand in rebuilding his community.
• Oakland office collected food and clothing for a Bay Area program called Ryan's Hope. The goods collected were sent to smaller towns in the south impacted by Hurricane Katrina.
